Construction begins on the new BCN Checkpoint, set to become Europe’s largest community centre specialising in sexual health for gay, bisexual, other MSM, and trans people. The new facility will expand services, reduce waiting lists for PrEP, and offer comprehensive, community-focused, stigma-free care.

On June 11, 2025, BCN Checkpoint brought together professionals and volunteers to review results, address challenges such as the waiting lists to access PrEP, and strengthen care for vulnerable groups. The event highlighted the importance of inclusive sexual health services, with key partnerships and specific training for the care of trans* and non-binary individuals. The gathering reaffirmed the commitment to equality, HIV prevention, and quality of care.
